 10.Smoked Herb Pork Sausage

In order to take the taste to a higher level, these sausages are done using a sheep casing. "It has its limitation in terms of size compare to a pork casing, but I am willing to settle for this presentation because the taste is much much better".

The two different type of sausages has their own personality. In order to maintain the food standard, only fresh and never frozen meat is used here and all flavors from the herbs are carefully blended so that they play their role well - the aromas are strong enough to enrich the pork sausage but never over spiced. 

 11. Smoked Chilli Pork Sausages

In order to cater for the Asian taste, especially those who fancy the spiciness of chilli, a specially created flavor combination is made available which gives enough hint of fire to the tongue but not overpower the meat flavor. The hickory smoky aroma with that additional touch of fire, a perfect match of east and west appeared!

This wonderful journey did not end with the food only. We had a very comfortable chatting with Wayne when everything is done and learned very valuable lesson. He told us that his friends laughed and questioned his decision to open a restaurant in Penang when he has already having always full-house in his Weissbräu in The Pavilion, Kuala Lumpur.

"They say 'are you crazy to open one in Penang? The Penangites are not like KL people. It is not easy to get to their taste and you will end up making losses' but I think it worth a try". Why not? Penangites are not unreasonable. They are just appreciating real good food. Thus with Wayne's persistence in giving the best to his customers, his Weissbräu will surely succeed.

He showed us the regulars that were having their meals. "When almost everyone thought we would receive more foreigners, it is to theirs and our surprise that we have quite the same well respond from locals", says Wayne. "And because we want our customers to really enjoy their time with families, indoor is strictly non-smoking: So adults always bring their kids along when they want to get a refreshing drink because it safe for their children's health in an environment that is free from smoker".

"You can always go outdoor, enjoy the sea breeze while enjoying your tobacco", says Wayne.

"Grab a beer, hang out with friends and enjoy good times without smelling like a cigarette when you go home".
