How to Have a Perfect Wedding?

When it comes to a big big day, everyone gets nervous. And so much so that we want things to work out perfectly, we realize we are always short of hands to take care of everything.

How do you cope with these trivial details?

IGNORE THEM.

You can't, right?

So some advices you "call up your friends, your sisters/buddies. This is the time that they perform their role - to support you"; while others said "get someone professional. They dedicate themselves to give you peace of mind. They are experienced and they will take care of everything on your behalf".

For some reason, people tend to take up the earlier one - the friends and sisters or buddies. They know you and you know them. They love you and you know that. Unlike the later, they charge and they have no emotional connection or whatsoever with you.

Well, friends and relatives of course is your immediate relate when in need of help. However there is a drawback - they are helping you on a voluntary basis. That means they do their best to help in any way they can, provided they have nothing that is more important than your wedding to do; and they have enough time and energy to follow up every single bit of the process of preparation. Besides this, because they are somehow connected to you in some way they care very much. The consequence of being so caring is the generosity in giving ideas and opinions. That leaves you with tonnes of more other considerations to take into account than solely focus on preparing for the big day. And before you are able to come up with any decision, you can expect more of "so how do you want me to do?" or "instead of doing this, you can actually do that," etc.

Ok, everything costs pennies, or ringgits here in Malaysia.

Ever heard of "if you don't manage things, they manage you back"? So unless you can have someone or even a team of people that you can rest your mind in, it is always a better idea to engage someone professional with the knowledge, connection and ability to help make the wedding happen perfectly on your behalf.

When we say professional, it means not only doing that for a living. It means doing it with dignity and responsibility as well as accountability.
